Richard Loe
Richard Loe was a renowned and hugely talented All Black prop forward of the 80's and 90's, with a reputation for hard play on the pitch.
 
No other New Zealand Prop or Front Row player has scored more than Richard Loe – 57 tries in first class rugby.
 
He played 49 Tests between 1987 and 1995, as part of a front row that included Sean Fitzpatrick.
 
He was the Crusaders’ first captain and the most capped prop in All Black Test history at the time of his retirement in 1997
 
He also appeared for two Super rugby franchises, The Crusaders and The Chiefs, after his service with Waikato, Loe returned to Canterbury and the farm.
